Five Pictou County lacrosse players were drafted at the East Coast Junior Lacrosse League draft on Jan. 30.
The St. Margaret’s Bay Rebels selected Keegan Walker in the sixth round, while
Round 8 had Mi’kmaq Warriors select Evan Talbot and the Rebels picking Ethan Myers.
In the 10th round, two more Pictou County players were selected; the Warriors picked Kalem Maloney and the Halifax Hurricanes drafted Aiden Leblanc.
The ECJLL season starts at the end of April.
