TRENTON, N.S. – The Pictou County Junior Scotians will play two games against the Eskasoni Junior Eagles this weekend.
The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League club will be in Cape Breton for a Saturday night contest, and those two teams will meet again the next night at the Trenton Rink at 6 p.m.
The Scotians are 6-12-3 this season, but are in fourth place in the Sid Rowe Division, the final playoff spot. The Eagles are four points behind Pictou County in the standings and the Scotians can put a crimp on their playoff aspirations with a good weekend.
Pictou County has 11 games remaining in the regular season schedule.
