Track and field districts is taking place on Monday and Tuesday of this week at the Pioneer Coal track facility in Stellarton.

Kristen Ross of Northumberland Regional High School and Allie Sandluck of North Nova Education Centre were well in front of the other runners as they raced in the 1500m event. Staying on Sandluck’s heels close throughout the race, Ross passed her on the final stretch to win in a close finish.
