TRENTON, N.S. – The Fundy Highland Subway Selects Atom AAs picked up three points in as many games this past weekend.

After a hard-fought loss to the first-place Metro East Inferno – where Kenli Ross saw over 50 shots on goal before one finally slipped in – It was unsure whether she or her team would have much left in them to face Metro West White at RBC Centre less than three hours later.

The girls came out hungry for their first league win of the season, worked hard, battling for the puck and came out on top with a 5-3 victory.

Scoring for the Selects were Sophia Hatcher, with a hat trick, while Chloe Ferguson and Mollie Cleary each picked up an assist on a goal. Ferguson got her own unassisted goal and Rogan Vint had a goal with assists from Ada White and Ashtyn MacHattie. Ross got the win in nets.

The final game was held at Trenton Arena on Sunday, when the Selects picked up another point in a 1-1 tie against Metro Force White. Scoring for the Selects was Ferguson, assisted by Hatcher.
