A local golfer has played her way to a Nova Scotia Golf Association (NSGA) award.
Taylor Long, who golfs out of Abercombie, was one of the Junior zone winners announced by the NSGA.
As well as the individual Player of the Year awards, the NSGA recognizes the Junior ‘Player of the Year’ in each of nine regional zones. Long was chosen as Zone ‘Player of the Year’ based on their tournament results during the 2019 season.
The annual Player of the Year awards reception will take place at Avon Valley Golf Club on Sept. 29.
