A Trenton woman was named one of the three Athletes of the Week by the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA).
Grace Anderson ran a perfectly executed race at this past weekend's ACAA Cross Country Championship Race in Brookvale, P.E.I. in early November.
Anderson is in her first year of Bachelor of Science studies (nutrition).
She placed first with a time of 27:45 in the P.E.I. meet, a strong performance over the 6km distance and a big contributor to the MSVU team win. Anderson broke the course down into sections and progressively pushed the pace, ultimately winning first place in the ACAA Women’s cross country race.
Grace also received the honour of ACAA women’s cross-country Runner of the Year.
