NEW GLASGOW: Arctic mass continues its grip over Nova Scotia
The winter season officially gets underway on December the 21, however, mother nature continues to treat us to winter-like conditions as the fall season winds down. Our temperatures will continue to run at below seasonal values for this time of December, daytime and nighttime readings will be more like January numbers. Normal daytime maximum temperatures are near 3 for this time of year. With a dome of high pressure building over Nova Scotia, mostly fair weather skies can be expected over the weekend with the exceptions being scattered onshore flurries for some areas of the province. -Phil M
