NEW GLASGOW: Winter slow to release its grip
Another stalled storm over the Labrador sea is serving up more wind and below normal temperatures. The last in a series of weak cold fronts rotating around the storm will cross the region on Tuesday. I don’t expect much more than clouds and a few flurries but the wind is going to pick up again behind the front. By Wednesday evening, the centre of a fair weather system will bring the wind to the south and warm things up for a couple days. The week will end on a mild, soggy note but that’s not going to linger … cold air and wind chill return heading into the first weekend of spring.
