At long last, it’s strawberry season in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley.  According to Phil Vogler, who snapped this amazing photo, we humans are not the only ones who are excited about this news.  

It appears that the cedar waxwings in the Berwick area are thieves and they are stealing strawberries from a local farmer.

How do we know for sure?  Some claim that traces of the berry can be seen on their beaks.  Let’s get to the juicy fruit before they do!
