Regional Weather Forecast

Before the week is out, we’ll have dealt with three intense weather makers. The most powerful of them will pull east of Nova Scotia Tuesday. The leading edge of the “weather bomb” will bring 20 to 30 mm of rain, a strong south wind - that will shift to west and gust close to 100 km/h. After a brief break, we can expect more rain and wind from west to east Wednesday night into Thursday. Cold air behind that low will serve up some snow where the north-west winds blow onshore. Finally, a weekend wind and rain storm will round out a blustery week.
