REGIONAL WEATHER FORECAST: This one is not a storm, but stay tuned!

Snow and some wind, compliments of a fast-moving area of low pressure. By the end of the day, snowfall totals will range from 5 to about 12 cm. Clearing will follow and we can expect a pretty nice, albeit cool start to the final weekend of the month. I am watching a developing area of low pressure that is expected to serve up a more powerful blow late Sunday into Monday. The track of the low is still not clear, but it does look like we’ll go from snow to rain then back to snow as the sprawling weather maker crosses the region. Snowfall is expected to be significant across Newfoundland on Monday with as much as 15 to 20 cm of new snow by Tuesday.
